On Monday (April 2/07), the US Supreme Court ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must consider the bulk of greenhouse gases as pollutants and require the EPA to regulate the emissions of such gases on new motor vehicles.  I consider this ruling a step forward as to creating a pro-active approach in combating global warming state-side.
