Originally passing up a free City of Ottawa hybrid vehicle last December, Ottawa’s Mayor Larry O’Brien has had a change of heart and turned in his Mercedes keys for a Toyota Prius. Apparently the green switch will save the city $300 a month on the Mayor’s car expenses.  Among the green movers, Mayor O’Brien has joined the likes of BC premier Gordon Campbell who recently acquired a hybrid Toyota.
