The Conservative government plans to release its much anticipated “Canada First” Defence Strategy within the next couple of months.  The Defence Strategy is a road-map for Canada’s military over the next several years and is focused on a renewed commitment to domestic issues and concerns.  A highly publicized aspect of the strategy includes greater emphasis on upholding Canadian Arctic sovereignty.
